Loss of documents and shipping delays. By contracting the services of Status Adjust, the client accepts and acknowledges that Status Adjust cannot and does not accept responsibility for delays or loss of documents due to unforeseen circumstances in the sending of documents, whether due to weather, change of route, lost shipments, processes and collection times, misdirected shipments or shipments with incorrect addresses as provided by the customer. We do our best to have your important documents delivered as quickly as possible outside of our Orlando-Florida office, but we cannot take responsibility for transit through a commercial shipper once the documents are in your hands.

The information provided to the agencies for the authentication of documents or the shipping companies is taken directly from our service form to request; whose content is provided by the client. Incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client that denies or delays the requested service or delivery of documents to the designated recipient as a result, is not the responsibility of Status Adjust. We are not responsible for inaccurate or incomplete information provided by you.

Certificates of Authentication can only be issued by the Florida Department of State for documents notarized by Florida notaries or signed by elected or appointed officials. Public school transcripts must be signed by a notarized registrar at the time of issue.

Agency Errors. Sometimes state and federal agencies will issue certificates that are incorrectly applied to your document due to sequencing issues, clerical errors, negligence, or flaws in the process. We are not responsible for delays caused by issues at the state, federal, or embassy or consulate level.

Financial responsibility and refunds. Liability for Status Adjust is specifically limited to reimbursement of any monies paid to Status Adjust, including services it offers. Refunds do not include fees paid to third parties that provide services on behalf of the client, including: translation services, courier services, agency fees, fees paid to acquire official documents, or shipping fees. In cases where commercial carriers refund shipping fees due to misplaced or misplaced shipments, Status Adjust will refund shipping fees charged by the carrier to the customer, at the discretion of Status Adjust, it is not responsible for the rejection of any documents by from any government, agency or embassy.

Rate and service adjustments. Good faith estimates are based on customers' understanding of their authentication needs. Charges may be higher or lower than the good faith estimate based on actual documents received or agency fees charged to acquire documents on behalf of clients.

Estimated response times. Response times for documents that are authenticated at the state, federal, or embassy, ​​consulate level will vary based on the workload at the agency, unforeseen shutdown due to police action, weather-related incidents, or weather issues. employee health, complexity of the transaction, especially in the Corporations Division, number of agency employees on duty, etc.

Unauthorized practice of law. Please note that Status Adjust, its agents and employees do NOT practice law. As with all major legal matters, Status Adjust recommends that you consult with an attorney licensed to practice law in the appropriate jurisdiction regarding the documents that you provide to Status Adjust.
